Thomas Op de Coul (TC) graduated as sonologist (electronic music) in The Hague and as a musicologist in Utrecht. In the past he worked at the NCRV and the Concertzender. A large part of his spare time is spent singing Renaissance music; he also conducts research into music and liturgy of Carthusian monks. Since 2005 he writes for Muziekweb. He is a musical omnivore and listens to as many as possible, from Gregorian chant to electronics, from Mahler to metal. Favorite artists: Guillaume Dufay, Johannes Ockeghem, Johann Sebastian Bach, Gustav Mahler, Townes Van Zandt, Coil and Tool.

André Dadi (AD) has been making the dance floors unsafe for years as one of Rotterdam's most famous DJs. For Muziekweb he writes about dance and jazz, exactly the combination he likes to play in his own sets. He writes the music web of Dance. Favorite artists: War, Horace Silver, Roy Ayers, George Clinton, Lou Donaldson, Bugz in the Attic, Bugge Wesseltoft and Jack McDuff.

Hans Jacobi (HJ) studied organ at the conservatory. After graduating from DM (with a 10-rated) & UM, he studied musicology in Utrecht. Since 1994 he is organist of the Remonstrant Congregation in The Hague. He is also involved in activities of the Uytenbogaert Center for religion and culture associated with this church. He writes about classical music for Muziekweb. His many favorites include Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Johann Sebastian Bach and Charles Wuorinen.

Cock Kats (CK) has been involved with Muziekweb from the very beginning. Since his youth he is a real music freak, after which he managed to make his hobby his profession. He has a fascination with Dutch music in general, and music from the war years in particular. His preferences change daily but his all-time favorites are Elvis Presley, Queen, Frank Sinatra and Rod McKuen.

Peter de Koning (PdK) writes for Muziekweb about pop and world music. He studied social history at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and wrote his thesis on pre-war variety artists. He also sang in Saunawest and King Kong Klub. Favorite artists: Serge Gainsbourg, The Velvet Underground, Fanfare Ciocarlia, The Clash and Fela Kuti.

Rien Meijer (RME) studied business administration and journalism at Erasmus University Rotterdam. After wandering through various editor positions at the AD and De Telegraaf, he is now researching and describing financial products for the Consumers' Association. Since May 2015, Rien is also testing fresh CDs in his free time, for Muziekweb. As old waver (Simple Minds! The Damned!) He now likes to listen to Curtis Mayfield and hiphop from the 80s.

Corien Pull (CP) graduated as a musicologist in Utrecht. She writes about classical music, with opera as a specialty. She has written the web shops Opera and French Chansons. She regularly gives courses and lectures on classical music. Favorite artists: Puccini, Verdi and Mozart in the classical regions and in the POPULARe genre Dulce Pontes, Madredeus, Zucchero Fornaciari, Shakira, Natacha Atlas and Omar Faruk Tekbilek.

Sandra van de Putte (SvdP) graduated as a musicologist in Utrecht. She has been working for Muziekweb since 1998. As one of the few employees she writes about both classical and popular music. She mainly focuses on crossover / world music, cabaret, pop music (French, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish) and light music. Her favorite artists include Bløf, Sinéad O'Connor, Zucchero Fornaciari, Zap Mama, Orishas, Lila Downs, Mariza, Manu Chao, Cheb Mami, Richard Bona, Toumani Diabate and Youssou N'Dour.

Jasper van Quekelberghe (JvQ) studied psychology and film studies and has worked at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Besides film, he has an irrepressible passion for music that he can use at Muziekweb. He mainly writes about music in the pop, rock and electro / synth corner. Favorite artists: Radiohead, Björk, Gorillaz, Röyksopp, Pantha du Prince, Goldfrapp, The Field and Simian Mobile Disco.

Mark Ritsema (MR) writes about music for R'Uit Magazine and the daily newspaper of the Lowlands Festival (Daily Paradise). He combines this with the musicians' existence, in illustrious bands such as Spasmodique, Raskolnikov and Mecano [NL]. In 2007 his first solo CD was released, under the name Nightporter. He has been writing for Muziekweb since 2005, specializing in alternative rock, roots / americana and prog rock. Favorite artists: John Coltrane, Howlin' Wolf, Bob Dylan, Curtis Mayfield, Television, The Gun Club,The Libertines en typische jaren zeventig bands als Roxy Music, Thin Lizzy,Pink Floyd and Gentle Giant.
