In previous performances such as Compassion (2009) and Puro (2012), the bandoneonist Carel Kraayenhof has increasingly moved towards theater. Kraayenhofs ensemble consisting of bandoneon, In addition to tango classics, piano and strings also plays Kraayenhof's own compositions in styles in which influences from Celtic, African, Caribbean and classical music can be heard.
