As usual, we hear a lot of wildly blaring trumpets on which it is good old-fashioned drinking and hopping. What is striking is that the orchestra is at its best when they

In the excellent title track, Marko puts his trumpet aside for scatting, and in the klezmer-esque Khelipe E Cheasa, the bagpipes play a leading role. Believe it or not, it works. Balkan hype or not: even when the musical storm from the east has subsided, Boban tours, Marko and their Orkestar continue to be successful around the world. (PdK)more
