Whitesnake grew into one of the most important hard rock bands in the 1980s. Their last record, "Slip of the tongue" dates back to seven years ago. In those seven years Coverdale recorded another album with Jimmy Page and Adje Vandenberg worked with a new band called Manic Eden.
