On (2018) Devonté Hynes aka Blood Orange captured the 'black depression' and feelings of queer people in a rich and diverse album that sometimes seemed a bit restless. Angel's Pulse is not a full-fledged album, but a mixtape. Once again Hynes opts for a varied palette of sounds, with influences from r & b, hip hop and soul.
