A remarkable choice by Anouk to sing a full album in Dutch after twenty years. We just have to get used to it, the album title says it all. The singer does what she wants and blame her for once. The title track also aptly describes how the singer feels about what other people think of her. That the singer from The Hague can be sensitive, she has already proved with (2013). Here she completely shakes
… off her rock image and accompanying sturdiness with vulnerable songs that are framed by beautiful arrangements. Sometimes her songs almost take the form of a smartlap. It certainly takes some getting used to, but Anouk is also vocally strong in Dutch and gives this album a lived-in character. (JvQ)more
