Although the singer is probably not a regular visitor to our website, it is nice that two years later she calls her third CD Artpop. In fact, it could not be delayed. … are nothing. Every day she has her fifteen minutes of fame on the blogs that can barely keep up with her. Musically, the American performs the most normal things: disco beats, loud house basses and infectious choruses that are mainly about sex. Yet there is always a hint of artistry surrounding her music. It's hard to say why. Is it the floating electro wave on the title track, the soulstrot on Swine or the obscenity of Sexxx Dreams? Although these are surprising elements, Gaga's unmistakable musical gifts contrast simply with her personality. Making art with everyday things is just pop art! (JE)more
