The Bouncing Balls were an advertisement for a television brand, featuring music by Swedish singer / songwriter . He sang the song Heartbeats and scored a hit with it. Great was the surprise when it turned out that Heartbeats is originally from The Knife, and sounds very different in the original
… version. In this way, The Knife also gained more name recognition. And deserved, as appears from the third CD Silent Shout. The Knife consists of brother and sister Olof and . Together they make dark and exciting electro, with strange lyrics and sounds. Olof does the programming, while Karin takes care of most of the vocals, which are usually passed through all kinds of effect equipment, with a ghostly effect as a result. It is mainly the atmosphere that makes Silent Shout such a special CD. Empty and bare, sometimes sinister and even scary, it is fascinating to listen to. (IV)more
