Actually, Pandemonium! already the second CD by the New York 'urban' boy band B2K. However, the self-titled debut from 2002 has not been released in Europe to date. A bit strange, especially when you consider that the album has now reached platinum status in its own country and also contained a number one hit with Uh Huh. With Pandemonium! the foursome must also break through in Europe. The album
… kicks off strongly with the catchy singles Bump, Bump, Bump (featuring P. Diddy) and Girlfriend, written by R. Kelly. The rest of the album also sounds like a clock and is never boring because of the variation. As befits a real boy band, the up-tempo songs are interspersed with some R&B-like ballads where the target group (read: high school girls) can swoon away nicely. The boys try to show the loudest that they are not just another boy band that is sent from behind the scenes by people from the management. With this forced behavior, however, they prove the opposite and if you listen carefully, you will also hear that every 'boy' in this group has his own carefully chosen place, not only in terms of singing, but also in terms of personality. In summary, Pandemonium! a nice, hit sensitive CD. (MvP)more
