Like many country artists, singer Sara Evans moved to Nashville to start a music career there. She also met her future husband, Craig Schelske, also a country musician and, like Sara, from a family of seven children. Evans' first CD was released in 1997 (Three Cords And The Truth) but had too 'retro' sound to appeal to a large audience. Evans eventually managed to score with her third album Born To
… Fly (2000), with sales of more than two million copies. Real Fine Place is her fifth CD. There is room for both traditional sounding tracks, such as Coalmine, and more pop / rock-ish tracks, such as Roll Me Back In Time written by Sheryl Crow. Many of the songs are about family happiness, God, and true love, but Evans doesn't sound corny or fussy anywhere. (IV)more
