Pat Metheny's hands never stop. The guitar virtuoso has been releasing records since the 1970s. He sometimes does that alone, such as from 2011, but more often with others. It is commendable that Pat Metheney manages to present himself on this record as the master guitarist he is, playing in the service of the band. The absolute highlight is the drawn-out Signals, which starts experimentally and eventually ends in a beautiful cacophony, with a leading role for the almost drum 'n' bass-like percussion. (HF)more
