… Ritenour imagined how great it would be to hear twenty of the world's greatest guitarists on one album. Moreover, this would be the ideal gift for his 50th anniversary as a guitarist. Nowadays such a project is easy to realize via cut-and-paste technique by e-mail, but that was not the intention. Most of the guitarists showed up obediently during the sessions led by Ritenour to play their parts on the spot. The result is great in terms of variety and quality.
