Guitarist and singer Melvin Taylor comes from the Chicago blues musician's school. He was born in Jackson, Mississippi in 1959 and moved to Chicago when he was three. His uncle Floyd Vaughan had the greatest influence on him; blues musicians such as Otis Rush, Magic Sam, Buddy Guy and Luther Allison also had a great influence.
