In 2009 drummer Baz Mattie (Junkie XL) decided it was time to put together a band that not only musically, but also visually pay tribute to this film genre. Two years later the B-Movie Orchestra is a fact. With their debut performance at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2012 they showed they have put together a grandiose show, accompanying edited film fragments with their film music.
