After a long national music career in Mali, the duo Amadou & Mariam broke through internationally in 2005 with the album . Since then, various guest musicians enjoy working together with the blind couple Amadou Bagayoko and Mariam Doumbia. This is also the case on the album Folila produced by Marc-Antoine Moreau.
